Say What? Lakers in ‘serious’ discussions with Mike Brown to become new head coach

Per Yahoo! Sports – The Los Angeles Lakers are engaged in serious discussions with Mike Brown about the ex-Cleveland Cavaliers coach becoming the franchise’s next coach, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
The two sides are working out issues that could be dealbreakers and cause the Lakers to go to another candidate, sources said, but there’s clearly momentum toward Brown becoming the next head coach.
While Mike Brown may not be the most popular choice amongst fans, it’s not a horrible hire that could have been had Mike Dunleavy been hired. Although this is far from being a done deal, one has to wonder what happened during the interviews of Rick Adelman and Brian Shaw, who were considered the top two candidates.
Once more comes out on the story, I will post the information here on Lakers Premier.
